The European Agricultural Forum is a significant meeting gathering representatives of Polish and international world of politics and agriculture. The event constitutes a platform for discussion about the most important challenges and innovations in the agri-food sector.
This year’s edition of the Forum, which traditionally took place in Jasionka near Rzeszów, gathered over 3 thousand participants. During the event, there were also interesting expert panels.
The participants among others discussed regional politics, safety of food in the globalization era, future of exporting Polish agri-food products, but also directions for development of the sustainable agriculture and investments compliant with ESG principles.
Smithfield Polska’s voice could not be missed during the event. Representative of the company, Łukasz Dominiak, public & government relations director, was invited to partake in the panel about successes of the Polish agri-food sector since entering of Poland into the European Union.
“Smithfield Polska has for years based its operations on the cooperation with Polish farmers, being fully committed to take care about quality of raw materials, from the time of their collection until obtaining ready meat products. All challenges that await our partners – growers and agricultural producers – also concern us directly, since thanks to them, we can achieve success together – said Łukasz Dominiak.
Operations of Smithfield Polska are based on the cooperation with local suppliers, which allows for control of the production process “from farm to fork”. Speech of the representative of the industry leader at the European Agricultural Forum allowed for presentation of the company’s long-term commitment in the development of the Polish agri sector and participation in crucial discussions about future of the agri-food sector in Poland and Europe.
